The poets gathered in the Eleven Dutch Poets, testify, as a whole, this richness and the extraordinary diversity that distinguishes Dutch poetry in its current period of flowering. These are poets who are still alive at this time and are still writing, and from whom new publications can still be expected. The simultaneous and relatively harmonious resonance of such different voices reflects the openness, variety and vitality of today's Dutch poetic landscape, and this anthology is testimony to that.
