Churubusco es una novela gráfica inspirada en la trágica historia del Batallón de San Patricio y su heroica deserción a favor de México en la desigual guerra contra Estados Unidos (1846-1848). Estos hechos históricos son el telón de fondo para una apasionante obra publicada por la editorial Coconino Press, en 2015. <br>El ilustrador y escritor Andrea Ferraris centra su historia en Rizzo, un soldado italiano miembro del Batallón quien, perdido y separado de su gente, busca refugio en el mítico pueblo de Churubusco, uno de los últimos bastiones de la resistencia mexicana que, en esta obra, simboliza también la dignidad de la lucha por los ideales y por la tierra.<br>

Churubusco is a graphic novel inspired by the tragic history of the San Patricio Battalion and its heroic desertion in favor of Mexico in the unequal war against the United States (1846-1848). These historical facts are the backdrop for an exciting work published by the Coconino Press publishing house in 2015. <br>The illustrator and writer Andrea Ferraris focuses his story on Rizzo, an Italian soldier who is a member of the Battalion who, lost and separated from his people seek refuge in the mythical town of Churubusco, one of the last bastions of the Mexican resistance that, in this work, also symbolizes the dignity of the fight for ideals and for the land.<br>
